1. How long have you been crafting?
I have been crafting for about 2 years. I started when my first born was a baby. I bought everything under the sun for a little girl except one thing.....hair accessories. I walked into a consignment store one day and saw these cute little bows. I couldn't believe how expensive one little bow was. So, I decided to make my own and pass over my abundant supplies to other moms. I do it more as a hobby than a business.
2. What brought you to Etsy?
I sold to a couple of boutiques here in the Tampa Bay area and one told me about Etsy. One look and I was addicted. I could never go back. I just LOV to hear about other moms and their babies and how much joy they get from my hair acessories. I recently had another little girl and now specialize in baby snap clips. They hold the finest of hair.
3. What is your favorite item in your shop?
I can't just pick one! I love them all. I don't make anything that my own two little girls wouldn't wear.
4. Do you blog? Twitter? Flickr?
No blog just yet. Between crafting and two little ones 2 and under there isn't much time left. I want too, though! Yes, I twitter! Come follow me at celesteandco!!!
5. Do you have a favorite Etsy shop?
There are so many great shops out there that I just can't pick one. There is one that I do love. It is candicenkatiesart.etsy.com She has some great bow holders. The prettiest I've ever seen. My daughter has one.
6. Tell us something fun about yourself!
I'm your typical mom. I love my kids! I just like to hang out with themm as much as I can and enjoy them while they are little. I really love making hair acessories for little girls and love hearing about how much other mom enjoy them as well. I know how everyone is on a tight budget these days and I hope I can pass some savings onto other moms. You really get great hair accessories at a fraction of the price! I'm having a back to school special right now as well. All items in my shop are BUY 3 GET 1 FREE!
